Welcome to EJT!

Hi and welcome to the new and improved Emma-Jane & Tan website! I’m Emma, co-founder of EJT. With creative input from Chris, I design the Emma-Jane & Tan collection.

Chris and I started the company about three years ago and it’s been an incredible learning experience. From our first wholesale trade show, where we moved into the exhibit space in a snow blizzard and were, somewhat embarrassingly, the only booth without lights, to now, where, at the very least, we’ve learned that we do need lights at trade shows :) (You can learn more about Chris and me – and Pippa the pug! – on the about page.)

Our designs are based on looking at the lighter side of life, which is something I try to put into practice on a daily basis. I learned this attitude from my grandparents, who would often remind me not to stress out too much and to enjoy life. They led by example, my grandfather skiing until he was 90, and my grandmother, at 87, teaching me a dance involving patting each other’s bums… a little racy, but fun nonetheless!

If you’d like to share stories of people and/or events that taught you to not take life too seriously, I’d love to hear them.

Take care and happy holidays!
X Emma

Very pleased to announce the launch of a new website for my sister’s diamond jewellery business, Emma-Jane & Tan. I worked on the previous version of the site, which was pretty good, but Emma and I both agreed it needed jazzing up!
